After serveral hours of inspection and discussions Luther, representing Carroll Bradford attempted to collect $2500 downpayment on a roofing project. I stated the FL attorney general’s office had advised me of not paying any downpayments to contractors. I agreed to deposit the monies into an escrow account with written terms of release and satisfaction. Luther stated he would discuss with home office that day. Latter that day I received an email, not even a phone call, informing me the company declined to performed the discussed contract.
