Carpartswholesale.com Botched an order and would not correct or cancel Carson California!!
Stay away from these sleazes. They botched my order, and I tried to correct or cancel. They said they couldnt do either, as the order was already processed. I asked them for a tracking number or delivery date, and they said it was “not available”. Later, a different person said they would try to cancel the order, but it would be a 50/50 chance that it would go through. WTF? They told me to call back and check after noon EDT. I learned later that this was a CA company, so this must have just been a stall. This was about midnight on a Sunday. The next day, I tried to call them, but the phone number on their site was not a good number, according to the phone company. I tried their live chat, and got a message that they were not accepting messages from my server. I tried to use their site to track my order, and the site said they had no information on my order number. Their whole customer service site is a fraud, as are the people who man the phones. I called the credit card company, and a CA phone number showed up, but as soon as I called that number, they stalled for a while, then I was transferred to another company. Again, I got the assertion that they were unable to cancel, and they had no information on the order. Not even my number. They had no idea whether they had the part or where it was or when it could arrive. I asked to speak to a manager, but got put on hold for at least fifteen minutes before they came back and said they were going to transfer me. But, of course, they disconnected me. I went through this several times. Later on, I learned that this company uses another company in an unknown country that handles internet orders. They are the ones who seem to be dropping the ball. The parent company in Ca actually has some decent and competent people, but I ended up in telephone transfer Hell, and it took a number of repeat calls before someone finally was able to tell me that the order had actually been canceled. However, the credit card company still tells me that there is a hold on my account for the full amount of the order, and they cant do anything until carpartswholesale or USauto parts or whatever name they are using releases it. I will wait a day and try again tomorrow. Once this company gets your money, you have no way of knowing whether or not you will ever get your order, and you cannot cancel or correct the order.
