Complaint: The owner of Cafe Tu Tu Tango in Orange, CA, hung up on me after not taking any responsibility for his company charging me $100+ TWICE! I dined on 7/30 and was charged $100+ on 8/4, and again on 8/11! He blamed the credit card company and refused to give me any kind of reimbursement for all the trouble I had to go through and time I spent on the phone explaining. It took the staff 2 weeks to ‘investigate’ the situation and and other 3-4 days to post to my account. I was promised twice that I would be receiving a call from the owner for updates on the situation and never got one call. Instead I was hung up on by his staff when trying to reach him while he avoided my phone calls (and he was always too busy to take the call). When I finally got to talk to him he says “It wasn’t MY fault””. In the mean time the restaurant holds my money and I am shorted $100 I worked hard for fair and square. I will never go back to this business because I still have not gotten a real answer as to why I was recharged for this bill over a WEEK later! I am in fear that they now stolen my magnetic strip off my card. A business like this needs to take some action and responsibility.
