Complaint: I ordered a Bubbies Ice Cream product on a Monday afternoon for a gift for my brother in New York. The price included money for overnight shipping. I assumed everything would go fine. That Thursday evening I have a voice mail saying the package could not be delivered (didn’t say why) so they would send out a new one for a Friday delivery. I sent an email right away because I knew my brother would not be home for the weekend starting on Friday so could I have a refund or we work something out. Then I get a SIX paragraph email from the company owner basically saying how it was not his fault and how could I be angry, etc. Also, that he would not do anything to make up for the situation. So, I asked him to just then please be sure to cancel all deliveries of the packages. So the next week comes and of course my brother receives both packages of ROTTEN ice cream! I sent them an angry email about this. The owner AGAIN sends me a nasty email that it is not his fault. So I assume that is the end of the matter. My credit card was charged the money already so that was that. Then Thursday of that week my brother gets yet another package from Bubbies that is a 2 page letter and copies of my email correspondance with the owner. The letter tried to explain yet again how he was right and I was wrong. Now of course my brother thinks this guy is crazy as well and that his customer service skills are the worst ever. I don’t know how this company’s product is, except in it’s ROTTEN state! But regardless, it is not worth dealing with this type of customer service. Not only was I inconvenieced and out money for nothing, the person I was trying to send a GIFT to was brought into the drama. This owner, Keith Robbins, is not only a poor example of a business owner, but a flat out, MEAN person that does not deserve your business. F F, PennsylvaniaU.S.A.
