BTI Special Commodities, Inc. Review

Got hired on with BTI in October 2018. I was told a lot of things that sounded great. I only wish they were true. | 1. I was told I could make 1400.00 to 1800.00 a week. According to the drivers, not true. Average pay I figured to be about 60,000 to 70,000. For oversize permit flatbed freight? Wow! | 2. I was told I would be put in a motel for orientation. Was told after the first night I would sleep in a room above the shop, like a drivers lounge for the rest of my orientation. | 3. The truck they wanted to assign me was old, smelled like an ashtray and had well over 1 million miles on it. It was literally in pieces in the shop. One driver said you regularly have to switch trucks due to breakdowns. They look pretty but… | 4. After not wanting to sleep in the garage, not agreeing to work for less money than I was told and not wanting to drive old stinky equipment I left and was denied reimbursement for my travel there or home. I repetedly just asked to be reimbursed for my travel and was denied by the recruiter and the vice president.
