I set up to have this ground shipper (Barbara) take a puppy to its new owner across the states. The shipper (Barbara) required money upfront so the new puppy owner paid the fee to have the puppy shipped several days before the set date to pick up the puppy from me (the breeder). The women notified the new puppy owner she would be a few days late as her back hurt, so the new puppy owner asked for a refund so she could get the puppy herself. When I heard about this from the new puppy owner owner, I asked Barbara what was going on and she told me she had to postpone the trip as the weather was acting up and she sent me a picture of the rain outside her car window… | the new puppy owner had already sent me a snapshot of the conversation between the two of them and when talking to the new puppy owner the reason was not the weather, it was back problems from a recent surgery. At this point I did not trust Barbara and did not blame the new puppy owner for her decision. | I asked Barbara to let me know as soon as she got the refund to the new puppy owner so I know everything has been taken care of and she assured me that wasn’t going to be a problem. Barbara has continued to change the story about reason why she hasn’t refunded the money and when confronted | with playing games has quit responding to both the puppy owner and I (the breeder). This has been upsetting for the new puppy owner as she had to sell items of hers to get the money to pick up her puppy across the states as well as getting ripped off. I was caught in the middle as I set up for transport but will not allow my new puppy owners to pay till they get their puppy in their arms from here on out. I also will let as many people as I can know of this women. It’s obvious who is at fault here. Please do not allow this women to steal your money as well.
