AutoNation Chevrolet North Review

I purchased a vehicle from AutoNation North. When I purchased the vehicle I was told all vehicles go through a 120 point inspection before vehicle is sold to customers. I found out after I purchased a vehicle that it had not went through this inspection and my vehicle was in the service waiting to be serviced. None of this was noted to me-AutonNation North just sold me the vehicle. When I purchased the vehicle, I purchased a high mileage extended warranty. Had the vehicle not even 60 days and they vehicle started to have problems. | Brought vehicle in to have a full diagnostics on the vehicle and paid out of my pocket to have this done-which it should have been covered under the $3400 warranty I purchased. Was told the vehicle would need work in the range of $10k with parts and service. Warranty company turned down claim-stating they have a signed contract with AutoNation North-that the first 60 days-if anything goes wrong with the vehicle that AutoNation North is responsible for fixing. I’ve called AutoNation North and cannot get anyone to call me back to correct this problem. I’ve left several messages for the store manager Sean Mullin and have even emailed a copy of the diagnostics to Ben Herrera-Service. (He won’t return my emails or calls.) I’ve left voicemails for George-service dept. mgr., Nathan and Jonathan who are all managers. None of them will return my many calls and messages. I finally contacted someone through chat and was told a manager would call me back. Now I receive calls from a used car salesman Andy and another so called manager Chris Kretzer. Chris Kretzer told me he’d get to the bottom of what’s going on and call me back. No return from Chris-so I texted him and was told he got into a car accident to call Andy. Call to Andy and he said AutoNation North will not fix my vehicle-but will find me another vehicle to come trade it in. | WHY should I have to come trade in a vehicle that took me over a year to find this specific vehicle? I paid close to $3400 for a warranty I cannot use and close to $21k for a vehicle that will soon break down. Warranty that is useless and AutoNation North purchased the vehicle at wholesale-aware of previous damage-but still sold it to me. This is FRAUD and this dealer should be shut down. | Beware of purchasing a vehicle here. They will do anything to get you in the door to buy. But don’t stand behind their notes inspections and warranties. Sad thing is-as a kid; my parents purchased vehicles from Chesrone Chevrolet who are now AutoNation North. Guess all of those years of buying Corvettes, Monte Carlo SS and many others….Our business and dedication to buying cars from this dealer-means nothing.

Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from AutoNation Chevrolet North Review. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
