Anything Austin Macauley, so-called publishers, say in its websites is lies and propaganda to deceive people to trust it and part with their monies for which they will never ever reap any benefits at all. They are not to be trusted. Once they get your money, they kiss you off good-bye. | Authors should get money from publishers and not the other way around. Austin Macauley makes their money and profits from authors and not from selling books. They have no book markets apart from placing a few printed copies with Amazon. They are a print on demand Vanity press. | AM has no fixed address apart from stating that it is in Cambridgeshire and it has virtual offices in London and now in New York. A few months ago, when an author asked to meet them in their London office, they turned down the request alleging lack of safety. What kind of organization fears to meet its clients in its office? | They are two explanations to account for the AM fear. They seem to know that their apparent grabbing of other people’s money is prompting those they deceive to dislike them and they could turn up with policemen to arrest them or they don’t want people to know that they don’t have a real office but a virtual office where some of them go to collect mail about their apparent scams. | Authors, particularly new authors who are vulnerable to their deceptive ways, should avoid them like the plague. AM is up to no good. Authors will save themselves from deception and disappointment by avoiding them. | Tony Briggs
