Appliance Rescue Review

Don’t, under ANY circumstances , be tempted!!! | These guys just left. When I called them on Saturday, they gave me a $200 quote when I told them that I had a Subzero fridge with the cold water and ice not working. They quoted me a $200 price and said that it would leave a cash tab of ~$70 after the Groupon I told them I had. Two guys spent 2 hours here, changed a minor part and about 18″ of tubing for the water. Then, they gave me the bill of close to $700 (!!!). They refused the Groupon, claiming that it is Groupon’s problem. They finally agreed to accept $550 cash. More than two and a half times what they initially quoted. If you want experience with cheating thieves, feel fine to give them a call. Be prepared for all kinds of rhetoric and semi-justifications for an exorbitant price. They will gouge you at EVERY opportunity. | In fact, even if you have a minor repair, I don’t think you should reward these guys by keeping them in business. Two hours plus one minor part=the $680 they wanted to charge me? I think not. If you are going to pay a Subzero price, just call Subzero… and you won’t get the GENERIC parts that they pulled out of their trunk. | Oh, and here’s the kicker. When he leaves, he tells me, “You should have an insurance policy for your appliances. With the money you just paid me, you could have all of your appliances, HVAC system and everything insured for a full year.” Stay away. Stay away. Stay away. | By the way, if you are an attorney reading this, I bet they don’t report their cash receipts!
