I purchased 2 Lava HD 2650, go to I purchased two of these antennas along with the accessories and one DVR, I spent a little over $300 with this company and over $700 on my own buying cable, two exterior towers since we do live in a rural area. As of now, I am out close to $1,000, if their advertising had been honest and accurate this would NOT be the case. | To start, as a consumer, you go to their website and you will see an application to help determine which equipment WILL work at your home. You simply put in your zip code and it will give you a list of channels that you will get. Naturally, you can assume this may vary depending on the landscape and surroundings. In my case, I was given a list of over 100 channels, I was able to get 2, yes only TWO PBS channels at all times, one more PBS channel was in and out. Far from 100 channels. Mind you, I put my zip code in and THEIR application instructed me which antenna would be the best for my needs. It didn’t work obviously. At this point, I was understanding, tried to reach out to customer service to get some guidance and resolve this matter. I made over 30 calls, nobody would answer, left messages… nobody would EVER return my calls. I would send emails and I would NEVER get a response. I began to become worried… but I was still holding onto hope. | I explained that I had purchased cable and two towers. The exterior towers were purchased in case the antennas didn’t produce results INSIDE the home, they could be put on the exterior of the home if needed. The antennas were so flimsy there was no way they could be put at roof level or higher on the home’s exterior. No way this would work. The Illinois winters would have destroyed them. If you are reading this, are over the age of 45 and remember the old tin/metal ice cube trays everyone’s grandma had back in the 60’s and 70’s…. the “blades” on the antenna were made of VERY similar material. Not severe winter storm friendly to say the least. I was not going to put those up outside my home, have the destroyed and be out all the money I spent on this faulty, below satisfactory quality equipment. | I couldn’t get anyone from Antenna Deals to talk to me, much less help me. Finally got ahold of someone in customer service with Lava Electronics in Canada. I can tell you right now to not even bother calling the numbers on their website or use the published email address…… you are wasting your time and energy. The people at Lava tried to help us, followed what they instructed but then let us know that if we couldn’t get the devices to do as advertised to contact the supplier Antenna Deals and go through the refund process. Well, since we couldn’t get either of the systems to do as advertised or EVEN CLOSE to started the refund process. Over 40 more calls/messages went unanswered. | Time goes on, tried to remedy this nightmare, over 100 attempts to contact them and I finally returned the merchandise for a refund. Returned ALL the merchandise that I was GIVEN in the ORIGINAL boxes, original shipping info, copies of the complaints I had just filed with the East Texas Better Business Bureau so that there would not be ANY chance of them not being able to use the excuse that they did not know whose equipment this was. I am the Queen of OVER Documentation and I can promise you that when they DID receive the merchandise back the DID know whose equipment it was. This was over a month ago now. Still no refund, still making excuses. | I have been working with the BBB for a while now and they can’t really do anything to resolve this matter. I am NOT going to be another victim of their scam. It is a scam in my opinion. They ARE guilty of false advertising, being literal con artists, in my opinion, having the worst customer service I have ever seen…. literally the worst. The are guilty of purposely keeping me… and many, many consumers seperated from their money! Rip off artists, this describes rip off artists, con artsists. | I want my money back. NOW THEY have ALL the merchandise back that I purchased from them and HAVE had it for quite sometime now. So.. they have it all back, undoubtedly selling it to some other victim. So not only am I out of all the money I spent but they will profit again by selling it to someone else. That is a con artists and in my opinion they should be shut down. | My father has died, I’m going through enough having health issues myself but now I have to fight to get the money that is owed to me. I am making it my personal mission to get my money back and spread the word as to how terrible this company is so that maybe I can prevent someone else from being ripped off. I will NEVER be able recoop the money I spent on all of this cable, accessories and the two towers. I will NEVER buy anything online again unless it comes from a well known company like AMAZON. I am beyond angry and I need some help.

Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from Review. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
