Complaint: I received the following email: Dear Debtor, The case will be downloaded on Thursday (January 8th 2015) and you will be soon served with the court papers. If you want to avoid these legal consequences we merely require you to get back to us with the payment. Best Regards. I made my mistake at contacting them since I’ve been out of work for 7 months I thought maybe it was possible that I missed contacting one of the companies that I owe. I was told it was for a payday loan and that I owed them over $2000 and they needed all or half or papers would be filed. I don’t have that kind of money and I have never gotten a loan. They said they had proof that I did so I said I wanted the information sent to me and they refused. After I wired them the half then I would received the paper work. This has to be a scam and they are trying to get money from people. I have done research on the Anderson Law Group and they are a legitimate company. Whether this Travis person works for them or not I do not know but if that is the practices that they use it is wrong. Beware of the Anderson Law Group emails. Thank You. Angry New Yorker.
