Complaint: Earlier this month I recieved around 6 letters, and an email from them claiming I owe them $11,278.84. They claim I was late on a payment(the first bill I received was in July), so I doubt this. They are billing my for $208. They also claim that my IBR is up. I have never held a loan with them, and I have never consolidated with them. Both my loans are with navient. I called navient, and they verified that none of my loans have been transferred to them. I also checked with the U.S. Department of Education, and there is no record of them anywhere. Furthermore all their notices arrive on the weekend, so you cannot contact customer assistance, to refute your bill. In order to contact via email, you have to enter the last four digits of your social security number. All this seems highly suspect. If they call me I plan to contact an attorney, as I have never given them consent to call me.
