AMC Courthouse Plaza 8 Review

I paid for movie, not seeing the few small 8.5×11 inch paper signs with print too small for me to read since i did not have my reading glasses. 5 minutes into the movie i noticed how hot it was. Set my phone to temperature detection and read 82F. I asked the manager to correct the situation and he just pointed to the small sign, did not even offer a refund. The sign says “We are currently experiencing above normal temperatures within the auditoriums, and are working as quickly as possible to find a resolution” Yet, there were no AC trucks or personnell anywhere on site, in the nearby lot, or anywhere nearby at all. Obviously they wanted people to pay the full price for a steamy hot theatre and not pay extra for AC Sunday repairs, which all the major HVAC firms offer. It was 90F outside and i’ve already been dealing with, and just getting over, heat exhaustion all week. I told the manager this and he had nothing to say. I left the movie early, wobbled out to my car having to stop several times, and finally drove home with my AC on. I will be taking this up further with AMC Theatres and possibly my attorney.
