I operate a 1-man e-commerce business to help support my family. | On April 22, 2019 Alvaro Silvasadder placed an order on my e-commerce website for a CD. I shipped his order as usual. Then a few days later I get a notification from Paypal: Mr. Silvasadder filed a dispute with Paypal saying he “didn’t authorize the transaction”. How did the order get placed then? Is he really claiming his child stole his credit card number and ordered a CD of Gregorian chant behind his back? Doubtful. | Anyhow, Paypal ruled in his favor and gave him 100% of his money back, plus I got hit with a $20 chargeback for doing absolutely nothing wrong. | To this day, Mr. Silvasadder never attempted to contact me by e-mail, phone, or any other means. If he wasn’t happy with the product, he might have TRIED at least to return the CD first! Instead he lied about the order, claiming it was fraudulent and stole $25+ from my family.
