Buyer beware! Bottom line is money in AE’s pockets, not the homeowners. I live next to an empty lot – that was taken off the market because it was not buildable. Now apparently it IS buildable- and they are forcing my next door neighbor to share a driveway with a spec home that nobody is or should pay over $180,000 for because they also will be forced to share a driveway. No mention in the ads for the home of a shared driveway. While it may be within their right to build on the lot – it’s bad business. Would not buy from Allen Edwin – do not recommend. Things are done to code – nothing above. Bought my house 8 years ago, and love my neighbors – but the house is not good quality – you get what you pay for.
