Before signing upl, I got a brochure stating what they do not cover, and ophthalmology was not listed. Paid all premiums on time. Three months later I needed to see an ophthalmologist. Aliera said I first needed a referral from my PCP, but they still helped me find in-network ophthalmologists. My PCP diagnosed me with Graves disease and referred me to an endocrinologist and an ophthalmologist, but Aliera now tells me that ophthalmology is not a specialty that’s covered. I need orbital decompression eye surgery, and Aliera won’t pay. There is nothing Christian about this company; they are scam artists who belong in jail.
