Advanced Moving Company Review

This company is careless and inconsiderate. They quoted me 8 hours for my move, it took 11 hours!! 3 bedroom apartment into another 3 bedroom apartment. They scratched my Italian leather couch taking out of the house unwrapped, they dropped my brand new footboard to my bedroom set and broke it. After all day moving, they left thing in my old apartment that I had to return and move in my car. No one has called back or contacted me regarding the repairs and scratches on my furniture. I called and left message with the owner Jimmy, he has not called me back. When it was time the pay, I was told cash or more money order only! I said its 11:00 pm and I don’t plan on giving you over $1,000.00 in cash. The owner was rude over the phone, I could hear him speaking to his employee about taking my check. I was already irritated about the length of time and the damages. I told him I would keep my check and he and I can meet and do business in the morning. | He declined and accepted the check and said we will take care of the damages. When I was collecting quotes, I could always get a call back. Now that I am a dissatisfied customer…no one answers my calls and certainly don’t call back! ******** 2 report ******** Do not use this company. If you have damages you will never be able to get them to return your phone calls. Get everything in writing before you go with them. Make sure to check everything before the movers leave. Make the owner come to your house before they get paid if there are damages. Once you pay for the move, you will never hear from them again. Beware of this company. They only care about customers who don’t have complaints. Completely unethical owner!!!! ****** 3rd report ******* I would rate zero stars if it were possible. I made an appointment for this company to move a cabinet from my garage to my upstairs game room. They never showed up. No phone call with an explanation. Nothing. I called and left a message at 6pm on the day of the appointment and still no response. Have tried to call numerous times since then and nobody has answered the phone nor have they returned any phone calls. Very unprofessional and discourteous. Would highly recommend you look elsewhere. Apparently, this company does not need the business anyway. As a result, I contacted SA Moving Guy and item was relocated no muss, no fuss. I would recommend you do the same. No big deal I waited. But it has been 2 months since I moved and my furniture was scratched and damaged and they haven’t sent anyone to fix it. They don’t answer messages and don’t return my calls.
