I was hired to create website content for aceDollar.com in June 2015 with an agreed-to completion date of 8/15/2015. I both wrote original content and edited content I received from the product designer, A. Szentivanyi. Terms of the contract included a 30% down payment (which I received at the project outset), with the remaining 60% of payment due at the conclusion of the project. | The project extended far, far beyond the estimated completion date. There were delays on both sides. Still, the project progressed, albeit slowly and I received positive feedback on my work. Despite really needing to wrap up the project and receive payment, I held on, resolute on receiving payment per the terms of the contract. | I had an uneasy feeling as completion dates for the project continued to slip and it became more and more difficult to receive responses from aceDollar. I felt as if Mr. Szentivanyl was trying to wear me down so I would drop pursuing payment. In December 2016, I sent an email to him to remind him that I held the copyright to the website content until I was paid in full. That is when he deleted my email address from the aceDollar site. I asked that I be paid by PayPal and he requested the email address to send payment and again — nothing. | I wish Mr. Szentivanyl no ill. I only wish to receive payment for the substantial amount of work that I completed. Because of an urgent need to have sight-saving eye surgery, I need to resolve this situation **now**.
