Accel Auto Group Review

I purchased my 1967 Chevy Camaro from Accel Auto Group. It was sight unseen as it was 1,300 miles away. They told me it was a good running car. Upon delivery, the car made it about 300 feet and died. Required a new horn relay. Made it one more mile before it broke down again. Had it towed home. Spoke to mechanics, required new distributor so I installed one. Found light housing missing and electrical lines cut throughout as well as wired incorrectly. Had to rewire the entire car. Fuel tank was full of rust and fuel line composed of 4 different, incorrect, size hoses. Replaced tank and fuel line. Fuel pump was in the wrong location, sucking air into the line and locking up and also ended up failing, had to replace and put back in the factory location. Transmission had no second gear. It slipped straight to third, had to replace transmision. Spedometer read twice the speed it was going, incorrect cable. Electronic components consisted of many foreign car parts not made for this car. Gear shift housing was just sitting on the floor and not attached to the vehicle. Plus many other smaller issues that I will fix later. To get the car running good, it cost me $11,000 after my $34,000 purchase. The dealer agreed to pay only $200 for two of the 6 tows that took place and I never even received that money. They simply make a car look pretty and sell the junk underneath at a price well over its worth. This was not a “good running car” like they said. Just a trick.
