ABC was contacted in August 2016 to provide rodent control service. As part of the package, they provided pest service. I called to cancel the service in January 2017. | In April I was sent a text stating they were coming to treat the house. That was 2 days prior to the scheduled date. Their policy was that someone needed to be there when they treated. I called them and was put into voicemail, so I left a message letting them know I had already cancelled and not to come. On the day of treatment I received another text from someone stating they would be there that day. The messaged did not include who they were or what company they were with. We had someone coming to provide an estimate for other work that day, so we did not respond. | A couple of weeks later we got a bill for a treatment. Neither my wife or I ever saw anyone come and there was no paperwork left showing they had been there. I called and they could not provide any proof they had ever treated and of course had no record I had left the voicemail on their system telling them not to come. They wanted us to pay for service they could never prove they provided and for which I had told them multiple times not to do. Instead their tactic was to send me to collections and threaten to put it on my credit report if I didn’t pay. As of today they have yet to provide me any proof of service or a copy of the original contract that I requested.
