Rude employees! Disrespectful of the directions that were given to them on what to move. | I referred 2 families to use AB Moving services, because of a good experience of a previous move. | (Both moves were an absolute Disaster!) | We were advised that we should have bought insurance, but chose not to. The insurance covers approximately | 60 cents for every 50 pounds. Do the math here…if they are moving all your belongings, there are many, | many items that can cost a great deal of money, yet they don’t come close to weighing 50 pounds. | Also, WHY does the customer need to pay more money to have a move done by purchasing insurance? | Shouldn’t the moving company be reputable enough to guarantee results? Shouldn’t the company be responsible for | the employees they hire, so that they aren’t sending crooks into your home to RIP you off at the 1st | chance possible? | AB Moving company sent movers out at our request to move ONLY heavy furniture. No boxes! | One of the movers chose to steal a small 10×10 plastic bag (knotted shut) from on top of a box. | That small plastic bag was worth $500 of new goods, that were bought for the new home. So the insurance | (if purchased) would have resulted in a replacement fee of 60 cents for a $500 loss. | Again, the requirements for the mover were to…Move heavy furniture ONLY. No Boxes! No 1 pound bag!! | We noticed an hour after the move that the $500 bag was missing. We searched and triple searched | everything – and it was indeed missing. We contacted the movers 1st thing the next morming and without | checking or caring, they claimed: nothing was left in the truck that moved everything. | We filed a police report (per their request) and one of the items in the subject bag was returned to the | store it was purchased from – for money back for the return. $250 for the 1 returned item (that was stolen.) | The receipt was in the bag that was stolen, so they easily knew where it was purchased from. | AB Moving has taken NO responsibility for the $500 loss. No employees were accountable for stealing. No | reimbursement was given for the moving charges, to at least show some responsibility for the damages that | the customer had to endure. | In essence: AB Moving is NOT responsible at any level. They aren’t accountable for being a reputable business. | They are accountable for hiring reputable employees. They are accountable for customer satisfaction! They aren’t | accountable for anything!!! Buyers BEWARE! You too can be the next victim of careless business dealings and loss | of money, time, resources and memories that are suppose to be positive when moving into a new home.
